How Screens Handles your Data

A guide to Screens' Terms and Conditions including our two subprocessors: OpenAI and AWS.

At Screens, we've taken an intentional approach to protecting your data on the platform. This includes the documents that you upload, the screens you create, the results of screened documents, and more.

Here are the substantive points:

  1. There are two subprocessors of your data: OpenAI and AWS. As outlined in the video above, we've studied their terms inside and out. They don't own any rights to your data and they can't use it for anything other than providing the services to us, which we then provide to you via the Screens platform. They do not have the right to train any of their AI models on your data.
  2. The same goes for us: We don't own any rights to your data and we can't use it for anything other than providing the services to you. We do not have the right to train any of our AI models on your data.
  3. Screens is developed and maintained by the TermScout team. We are SOC 2 compliant and audited annually. Visit our trust center to request access to information security policies, our most recent SOC 2 report and much more about our security practices including corporate IT, application security, and cloud security.
  4. We'll delete all of your data from our systems within 30 days of termination of your account and/or workspaces.
  5. Data uploaded to or created within a private workspace is not accessible by anyone who has not been invited to the workspace. We default to logical data separation between workspaces, but we can accommodate physical separation for enterprise customers above a certain spend threshold. Contact us at sales@screens.ai for more information.
  6. We use Auth0 to manage our application level authentication. We suggest that you use social sign on with either Google or Microsoft using your corporate email account. We can accommodate SSO and MFA for enterprise customers above a certain spend threshold. Contact us at sales@screens.ai for more information.

If your company requires an in depth information security review to use a new vendor but you'd like to try Screens first, consider creating an account and testing it with publicly available contracts like hosted terms of service or publicly available templates for lease agreements and employment agreements. Here are some resources for publicly available contracts:
